I love to cook and I love to eat. So when I got married and had kids, I decided I had to do whatever it took to help them become brave and adventurous eaters. I wanted to share my excitement about food with them, and I also refused to become a short-order cook for four picky critics; I am way too sensitive to handle that kind of nightly rejection of my culinary creations. On top of that, I like my family, and I wanted us all to eat meals together whenever we could. Thus began what became a lifelong mission to make nourishing ingredients as delicious as possible, so that eating well is an ordinary, everyday joy. Lucky me, I have been able to share my passion with an amazing community of friends as well. And I’ve been allowed to write about this journey as I walk it.
